Deluxe Door Restoration Kit – 311-061
The 311-061 kit is an all-in-one package for owners performing a mid-to-high level restoration. Over decades, the original window scrapers and felt channels in Type 3s become brittle, causing windows to rattle and allowing moisture to ruin door panels. This kit solves those issues by providing high-quality replacement components that mimic the factory look and feel.
This "Deluxe" version includes the outside window scrapers with the integrated aluminum molding, which is a signature detail for the late-model Type 3 aesthetic. Whether you are daily driving a Squareback or showing a Fastback, this kit provides the essential "soft goods" to keep your cabin dry and quiet.

-
Check the Drain Holes: While the door panels are off, ensure the drain holes at the bottom of the door are clear; even with new seals, some moisture will enter, and it must be able to escape.
