SB 71-1/72 Idler Arm Bushing (Through VIN 1122575326)

1971 - 1972 1/2 Super Beetle Rubber Bonded Idler Arm Bushing (Large), replaces your worn out worn out stock rubber bonded idler arm bushing, a major cause of the Super Beetle Shimmy! If the bushing is shot, the pitman arm moves up/down.

If your Super has been suffering from shimmies and shakes, or sloppy steering, a new idler arm bushing may be needed. This bushing is an exact replacement for stock bonded rubber bushing. These rubber bonded bushings give a softer steering feel than the brass ones do.

This fits chassis up to #112-25-75326.

If you have a 1972 Super and are not sure if you have an early or late one, the early Idler Arm Bushing has an OD of ~1.5" (38mm), and an ID of 1.023" (26mm). The Late Idler Arm Bushing has an OD of ~1.187" (30mm), and an ID of .710" (18mm).
