Alignment: Snug the bolts down evenly across the entire length of the running board before doing a final tightening to ensure the board is perfectly aligned with your fenders.
-
Anti-Seize: Applying a small amount of anti-seize lubricant to the threads will make any future maintenance or running board replacement much easier.
