Note:This stub axle may or may not come with a brass ring at the base. If it does you need to use a drift or a soft hammer to remove it. The fit between the stub axle and bearing inner race is designed to be a very slight interference fit (less that .0005”), not a slip-fit. Your used stub axle may be just worn enough for the new bearings to slip right on, but some force and/or heating of the bearings might be necessary-especially if the stub axle is new
