VW Fuel Tank Sending Unit — PN 211919051A

This unit replaces the float / sending element inside the fuel tank of 1973–1979 VW Type 2 Buses. It installs via the top access port and connects to your gauge to accurately monitor fuel levels.

Notes & Installation Tips

• The sending unit is inserted from the top of the fuel tank — ensure the tank is properly supported and drained before removal

• Be sure to use the correct sealing gasket to prevent fuel leaks

• Verify that the gauge wiring provides a proper ground path for accurate reading

• If your original unit’s seal is missing or degraded, adding a new one is strongly recommended
