EMPI Stock Height T1 66-77 Performance Front Oil Shock

EMPI's oil-filled front shock engineered for Type 1 ball joint suspensions (1966–1977). Delivers stock ride height with 14.5" closed length and 18" full extension. The 12mm lower eyelet sleeve accommodates standard 11.9mm trailing arm mounts for direct fitment. Oil-damping technology provides consistent performance across varied driving conditions. Compatible with drop spindle setups and vehicles lowered 2–3 inches. Sold individually; pair required for complete front suspension refresh. Ideal for street-driven classics prioritizing reliability and predictable handling. If the shock will not slide onto the lower mount the old sleeve may still be stuck on the stud and need to be removed be the new shock will fit. Designed for Bug 66-77, Ghia 66-74, Thing 73-74.
