For VW enthusiasts building a full-flow oil system or installing a remote oil filter, this EMPI cast aluminum adapter plate offers a reliable and flexible solution. Designed to accept standard spin-on oil filters, this adapter allows you to mount the filter in a location of your choice—on the firewall or directly to the engine using EMPI’s exhaust flange mounts (P/N 16-8240 / 16-8241).

The adapter features left-side inlet and outlet ports with 3/8" female NPT threads, and includes a 3/4" x 16 threaded nipple for filter installation. Compatible with EMPI’s spin-on filters (P/N 9230, 9240, and 9250), this adapter is not intended for use on stock VW engines, and is specifically designed for aftermarket oil systems.
