This bearing fits inside the front drum or rotor, offering a low-friction interface between the hub and spindle

Key Details

• Applications: 1968-79 with compatibility across models — Beetle, Super Beetle, Karmann Ghia, Type 3, Thing 

• It must be installed by pressing the outer race first into the brake drum or rotor, then installing the greased bearing and inner race. 

• Dimensions (as approximate): 50 mm outer diameter, 29 mm inner diameter 

•  VW changed the inner wheel bearing and tie rod ends in 1968. If your tie rod end nut takes 17 mm, you should use this bearing (311405625B). If it takes 19 mm, a different bearing (311405625) is required.
