Throttle Cable Guide Tube Thru Fan Shroud

This throttle cable guide tube is engineered to fit all VW Type 1 and upright-based engines, 1300cc and larger. Measuring approximately 8.125" in length with a 0.33" outer diameter, it features a rolled lip end of about 0.43" diameter for secure fitment through the fan shroud. The steel tube guides the accelerator cable smoothly from beneath the engine to the carburetor’s accelerator lever, preventing wear and grooves into the fan shroud caused by cable friction. Essential for maintaining precise throttle response and reliable engine control. Over time, the tubes may deteriorate as the accelerator cable wears grooves into them.
