Installation & Maintenance Tips

• Replace the Seal: Never install a new windshield with an old, dried-out gasket. It is highly recommended to use a new Windshield Seal to prevent leaks and ensure the glass is properly cushioned.

• The "Rope-In" Method: This windshield is installed using the traditional rope-in technique. Use a soft nylon cord and plenty of window lubricant (or soapy water) to pull the rubber lip over the metal body flange.

• Professional Installation: Because of the size and weight of Bus glass, we recommend having a second person assist with the installation or hiring a professional mobile glass service to ensure a leak-free fit.
