Installation & Maintenance Tips

• Inspect the Gasket: When you have the lens off, check the Lens-to-Housing Gasket (113-953-165). If it is flattened or brittle, moisture will seep in and corrode your bulb socket.

• Don't Over-Torque: Tighten the mounting screws just enough to compress the rubber gasket. If you tighten them too much, the plastic around the screw holes will crack under the pressure.

• Bulb Check: This is the perfect time to switch to a fresh N177172 & 1157 bulb. Even if your old bulb still works, they dim significantly as they age, and a fresh bulb will look much better through a new lens.
